Home support
Help with meals, laundry, light housework and keeping on top of things at home.
One-to-one support in West Somerset
Kerry and Sami are two experienced local carers starting their own small service. We help adults live the life they want: at home, out and about, and in their community.
Who we help
Everyone is different. We get to know you first, then plan support around your routines, interests and goals. We support:
We also support families. Knowing someone reliable is there can make a real difference.
What we do
Practical, friendly support that helps you get on with life. We always agree clearly what we will and won't do before we start.
Help with meals, laundry, light housework and keeping on top of things at home.
Shopping, appointments, a walk on the seafront, a café, a club. Getting out and staying connected.
Building confidence with cooking, budgeting, travel and the everyday skills that make independence possible.
Support to find, start and keep going with work, volunteering, college or courses.
A trusted person to spend time with your loved one, so you can take a break, during the day or evening.
Friendly reminders to take your medication at the right time. We prompt only; we don't give medication.
Why choose a small local service
Big care companies do important work across large areas. We're doing something different. Kersami Care will support no more than eight people, all here on the West Somerset coast.
What we believe
Our aim is simple: high-quality, person-centred support that helps you keep your independence, dignity and quality of life, in the comfort and security of your own home.
Treating you with respect in your own home, every single visit.
Taking time to listen and understand what life is like for you.
Helping you do things yourself, not doing everything for you.
You decide how, when and where you're supported.
The same familiar faces: Kerry and Sami, not a rota of strangers.
Meet the team
We've spent many years supporting adults in West Somerset. Now we're starting our own service so we can give people the time and consistency they deserve.
